Food Allergy News: New Patent for OMIT and Generic Epi

Looks like we will be waiting yet longer for Teva's generic epi. The FDA has found "major deficiencies" in Teva's application for an epinephrine auto-injector according to this Bloomberg article, Mylan's Epipen Boosted As FDA Sees Holes in Teva Application.

And then, there is this intriguing news about a new patent for food allergy treatment. There's mention of combining the allergenic proteins with toothpaste--that's fascinating!
