I received an email from the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America alerting me to a call-in scheduled for February 28, 2012 regarding the National Asthma Control Program. I have copied and pasted the action alert from their website below. Please email the Asthma and Allergy Foundation for more info.
"Join the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America and the American Lung Association to help save the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Asthma Control Program. Please call all three of your elected officials in Washington – your two Senators and one Representative – on Tuesday, February 28, and urge them to fight to save the CDC’s National Asthma Control Program."
"We hope you will join in so we can speak with one voice about the importance of this program to the 25 million Americans who have asthma. Please reach out to partners, program participants, asthma coalitions & others and ask them to join us in this important day."
