Here is a message for all you food allergy moms, dads, families and individuals in the great state of Rhode Island.
The Food Allergy Initiative is interested in building a grassroots coalition of parents and other food allergy activists who are interested in building awareness of food allergy issues in Rhode Island. Thanks for getting this discussion started early. I also get requests for nut-free (peanut and tree nut-free) candy corn so thanks for looking into Sunrise candies.
Vermont Nut Free used to make candy corn and stopped--why oh why? I even asked them but they didn't answer.
Smarties, Sweet Tarts and also Dum Dum Suckers are "allergy-free" candies to have on hand for Halloween, that I know of right off the top of my head.
