Lawsuit Against BK for "Allergic Reaction"

Just came across this interesting little article about a man who ordered sandwiches at Burger King without pickles, only to discover later that pickles were in the sandwich after biting into them. He sued Burger King, having apparently suffered an allergic reaction.

Why didn't he double check before he ate it?

Good point! Something like a pickle would be SO easy to spot, unless there were cross-contamination and no actual pickle.

I agree - absolutely he should have checked! Pickles are kind of hard to miss...

And yet, I have a lot of sympathy for the lawsuit, esp. it he'd noted the allergy when he asked them not to include the pickles.

Bullsh*t!!!! Why should someone paying their hard earned money for a product have to check that product??? Fact is they do not work for the company.... people get paid to make sure it is correctly made.... if anything it falls on the person wrapping the sandwhich.... grow some back bone people! oh you really should have checked that...
