Superheroes are a common theme in our house. We have books about them, plastic play figures and superhero stickers. They're nearly part of our everyday life. Then there are the real life heroes. For my family, one such hero is Chef Ming Tsai, national spokesperson for FAAN (the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network).
Ming Tsai hosts and produces a Public Television cooking show, Simply Ming, which is filmed in the Boston suburb of Milford, Massachusetts. His restaurant, Blue Ginger, is one of the best known and most highly rated restaurants in the Boston area. Blue Ginger is located at 583 Washington Street in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Telephone 781.283.5790. The Zagat Restaurant Guide has rated Blue Ginger the "2nd Most Popular Boston Restaurant" since 2002.
Ming Tsai has created two videos about food allergies and allergy friendly recipes which are being released during Food Allergy Awareness Week, May 11 to 17, 2008. The podcasts are available for free through the Simply Ming website and itunes.
